Dishwasher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our restaurant operations and providing excellent service to our guests.
Duties

Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash as needed.
Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as required.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
Help with bussing tables to maintain a clean dining environment for guests.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Other duties as requested by kitchen manager or owner.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Willingness to help others and support various kitchen functions as needed.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
