Director of Nursing

Skilled Nursing Facility activley seeking a DON (Director of Nursing) to join our dynamic team & a Five-Star Rated Facility!! Applicants should have strong leadership ability and excellent supervisory skills. The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards. • Must currently be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).

Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standingt. • Must have supervisory experience in a long-term care setting• Must have strong leadership skills and be able to lead a team of dedicated nursing staff, as well as help foster a team atmosphere with the Nursing Department • Must be able to teach and lead staff• Must have ability to be a Liasion and maintain a good repoir with residents, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for and meet resident needs • Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility • A great salary & benefits package is available.
