OUR ORGANIZATION:
The HMIS Interface Management organization provides leadership, coordination, and partnership between HMIS and its Site customers to ensure the effective delivery of Hanford Site Services.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Interface Management Director provides leadership to the Interface Management team. This position reports to the Deputy Vice President of Interface and Integration Solutions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading the HMIS Interface Management organization, that includes five Interface Management Specialists that lead day-to-day inter-contractor interface discussions that result in field operation issues being resolved at the lowest possible level.
- Providing Hanford Site Interface Management and Site Integration leadership in support of DOE Site Integration expectations and HMIS' interface management contract scope.
- Providing Hanford Site Governance leadership, policy formation, and administrative execution of this DOE directed contract deliverable.
- Providing leadership, analysis, and inter-contractor collaboration in support of the Contract Interface Board (CIB), which is an integral part of the Hanford Site Governance board.
- Providing HMIS and inter-contractor guidance and leadership in the development of all J-3(a) contract changes, in collaboration with One Hanford contractors' participation and concurrence.
- Managing all HMIS inter-contractor interface agreements, including 80+ agreements that include Memorandum of Agreements, Interface Control Documents, Administrative Information Agreements, and other inter-contractor agreements.
- Leading issue resolution actions that cannot be resolved by HMIS/OHC field operations management.
- Responsible for leading or supporting HMIS business cases that impact One Hanford Contractors. Provide cross-cutting, objective analyses that achieve business case results that are in the best interest of the government – and not just one individual company.
- Managing strategic HMIS activities and initiatives in collaboration with the Interface & Integration Services Vice President, the Chief Operating Officer, and President's Office.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a related field – OR – an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be results oriented, with a strong commitment to customer service and demonstrated ability to collaborate with staff at all levels.
- Must possess strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to partner with One Hanford Contractors on strategic and tactical business issues to work effectively in a highly integrated environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous management experience, with a proven track record of building cohesive teams.
- Previous interface management experience.
- An emphasis in organizational effectiveness and change leadership, strong business acumen, and broad business perspectives.
- Possess broad technical knowledge of Hanford Site operations, contractor roles and responsibilities, infrastructure and security operations, project management processes and tools.
- Have general knowledge of Hanford Site contracts and the regulatory environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Grade 22: $155,625 - $204,775
Grade 23: $179,013 - $235,638
