IT Level 1 Technician Artilus is a cybersecurity and managed service provider comprised of a finely-tuned and experienced technical team who strive to maintain a level of excellence by working collaboratively to innovate and deliver comprehensive and dependable IT services to our valued partners. Position would begin after background check is completed and candidate is cleared to work. Candidate Requirements: MUST BE LOCATED in NASSAU or SUFFOLK, LONG ISLAND, NY
Minimum of 2 years experience (2 year college degree in relevant coursework OR applicable certifications) supporting computer networks
Knowledge of corporate antivirus/antispam
Knowledge of machine imaging
Knowledge of windows domains
Confident with hardware - laptop break/fix is a must
Understanding of network services (DHCP, DNS, Group Policy)
Knowledge of Google Suite Admin Console
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, engineers, sales people, vendors and peers.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to team with others to develop and implement complex projects.
Must be neat, organized, and communicate well.
Must have a reliable vehicle and a clean and valid NY State Drivers License.
Job Responsibilities:
Install, configure and support desktops and chromebooks for end users.
Install, configure and support peripherals for end users.
Provide basic network troubleshooting (cabling, Wi Fi connectivity, Nic)
Troubleshoot and repair software application problems.
Maintain trouble tickets and provide detailed documentation of all work.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Manage and maintain windows clients and support end users
Manage and maintain laptops, chromebooks, and i Pads
Troubleshoot user software and peripheral device problems
Installation of various technical equipment
Kindly deal with people with a positive attitude
