Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to navigate efficiently through designated routes Own vehicle a must.
Duties

Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring items are secured for transport.
Follow designated routes and schedules to deliver products to customers promptly.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and any necessary documentation.
Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organization.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is not required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with delivery work.
Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills using GPS.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
