Position Overview: The Database Developer/Analyst is responsible for the development and production of standard and ad hoc reports. The ideal employee will be able to perform the appropriate analysis to evaluate, monitor, and predict the utilization and service statistics for Mountain Park Health Center (MPHC). The Database Developer/Analyst will efficiently and accurately mine information from various data sources and prepare meaningful reports by working collaboratively with MPHC staff and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of data and data visualizations. This position involves understanding complex business requirements, developing data models, and querying and performing data analysis and requires strong technical skills. Essential Functions:
Acquires data from a variety of sources and performs analysis, interpretation, and synthesis of data.
Optimizes in-application SQL statements using Microsoft SQL Server platform, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and Transact SQL stored procedures.
Performs in-depth data analysis, modeling, and administration tasks on complex data integration scenarios and corrects issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
Develops SQL procedures, triggers, views, functions, and reports to support enhancement to critical SQL-based business systems.
Works with non-IT users to develop reports and dashboards for a variety of internal customers.
Monitors database backups and recovery, SQL query optimization; index management, system performance, and optimization tuning.
High level of understanding in writing complex queries, examining hierarchies, and validating relational data.
Designs and implements new solutions and improves existing code to make the reporting efficient and reliable including introducing new functionalities.
Develops charts and provides insights using Advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, What-If Analysis, etc.
Designs database architecture and data models, test enhancements and workflow reports.
Maintains data reliability, eliminates data redundancy, and streamlines the reporting procedures.
Participates in data collection/entry processes to ensure that data is accurate and provides quality investigations on data elements to increase data completeness.
Consistent, in-person attendance at the is required.
However, limited remote work may be permissible based on the employee’s performance and the specific task the employee is accomplishing.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
At least 3 years of professional experience in SQL Server (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS) and T-SQL data manipulation or similar database
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field Experience working in a data warehouse environment
Experience with Power BI or similar
Business Intelligence tools Experience in Health Care EHR/EMR systems, Share Point, or Office 365
