Custom picture framer and designer
Growing company with two Albuquerque locations is looking for motivated people to join our expanding team. Job responsibilities include custom design for clients projects and artwork and completion of the design including construction of the frame, mounting, and matting. Good interpersonal skills are necessary to successfully work with clients during design sessions and presenting finished projects. Responsibilities also include mat cutting, mounting, framing, and maintaining a clean workspace. Candidate will be expected to be able to operate POS register, framing software and tools needed for the framing process. Framing services will include shadow box, canvas float frames, gallery wraps, and traditional picture framing. Additional responsibilities may include sales of printing services, photo restoration, and photo archiving and organization services.
Candidate must display a willingness to learn and be adaptive.
No formal degree is required for this position. Knowledge of the arts and art history would be beneficial. While experience is a plus, no specific experience is necessary as we are willing to train motivated candidates.
Pay to be determined based upon applicants experience and abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
