Optima is currently seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. Credentialing Coordinator Responsibilities:
Monitor expiring licensure, board, and professional certifications, along with all other expirable documents
Process initial and re-credentialing applications
Respond to health plan provider inquiries
Maintain and update provider profiles on CAQH, PECOS and NPPES
Track credentialing and enrollment applications daily
Update necessary departments on credentialing changes
Credentialing Coordinator Qualifications:
2 years healthcare experience
1 year of ADP experience
High level of professionalism
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft word
Strong excel and spreadsheet capabilities
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Attention to detail and time oriented
