Minimum Qualifications:
One of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree business, healthcare administration, or related field, and minimum of 1 of the most recent 2 years’ experience in compliance or regulatory environment
- 5 of the most recent 7 years’ experience in compliance or regulatory environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations
Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Active unrestricted Class D U.S. Driver’s License
One of the following Healthcare Compliance Association (HCCA) certifications:
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC),
- Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC)
Desired Qualifications:
Master of business administration
Master of Healthcare Administration
Master of Jurisprudence
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Certification
Responsibilities:
Serves as an integral member of the IH Compliance Team by assisting in the development and implementation of the IH Corporate Compliance Program. Acts as the Section 1557 coordinator, ensuring compliance with federal regulations regarding patient rights and non-discrimination.
