Controls Field Service Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in various environments. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems at client sites.
Duties

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess equipment performance and diagnose issues.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs and installations.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on high voltage systems.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
Document service activities, including repairs performed and parts used, for accurate record-keeping.
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or in a similar field service role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to detect electrical issues efficiently.
Familiarity with CNC machinery and its operational requirements is preferred.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments for diagnostics.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
Must know Allen Bradley and Siemens and be able to troubleshoot.

Pay: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
