Job Description:
Title: Medical Claims Specialist | Patient Financial Services
Location: Olathe,KS
Desired Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment: 14 weeks, temp-perm
Hours per Week: 40
Shift and Time: Days, 8 hours
Schedule Details: Monday - Friday (can chose start time 7am, 7:30 or 8am, but will remain the same moving forward)
Experience Requirements:
Pay: $22.76 - $25.95 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Experience Requirements:
- Must have 1 year Physician claims experience. 1500 Claims and Denials experience.
- Ability to work in multiple computer systems (Cerner, Epic, & Claims Scrub system).
- Good typing skills, Min 50 WPM. Ability to manage 120 claims daily
- Experience Preferred: 2 years Physician Accounting Experience
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department
- Confirms receipt of daily billing files by the claims clearinghouse
- Researches and resolves any claim rejections within designated timeframes
- Reports any claim rejection trends or delays to management
- Submits paper claims and supporting documentation as required by payers.

Pay: $22.76 - $25.95 per hour
