Role Description
CPCON is seeking a Certified Forklift Operator to join our team on a contract or temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting comprehensive physical inventories within an assigned region, including driving a forklift to manage inventory and storage needs. Your duties will involve executing accurate inventory counts, recommending corrective actions for discrepancies, assisting with audits, and working closely with warehouse staff to ensure compliance with work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Job Responsibilities

Drive the forklift to support inventory management and storage processes.
Conduct and coordinate complete physical inventories in designated areas.
Execute inventory counts with accuracy and precision.
Recommend corrective actions to address discrepancies.
Assist with inventory audits and compliance checks.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to obtain and follow SOPs for operational compliance.
Count stock items utilizing a scanner - done within labs, manufacturing areas, storage areas, containers, warehouses and stock rooms.
Travel to other locations (Clinton, TN) with other team members to perform complete inventories; Paid travel expenses, including meals and accommodation, for assignments outside the primary region.

This role will be performed entirely on-site at the CPCON’s client facilities in Clinton, Tennessee.
Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Proven experience as a forklift operator, typically at least 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse practices and material handling methods.
Your ability to generate ideas and be part of the solution
Your advancement of learning and sharing of knowledge in a collaborative way
Good communication and interpersonal skills and Attention to detail
