Overview:
NEW BRAUNFELS, TX (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - Fun and active family seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN/OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for 4 children; 3 girls ages 12, 7, and 5, and a boy aged 9. The family lives an active outdoor lifestyle and lives on 30 acres on the Guadalupe River. All of the children are in school during the week and the youngest(5 years old) is in preschool 8:30am - 1:30pm, 5 days a week.

Hours are 30 to 40 hours per week. Some days are 7:30am - 5:30pm, some are half days. Might be morning o Lu or afternoon/night only. Most weekends are off. The schedule is shared in advance and flexibility would be best.

The perfect candidate has high moral values, understands and respects the family values, is trustworthy, dependable, and enjoys being busy with this amazing family. Dad works from home on and off and mom works out of the home, 3 days a week.

There is a pool at the home and the family lives on the Guadalupe River, so the candidate must be able to swim with the children. Spanish speaking would be a bonus, but not a requirement.

The nanny's living accommodations include a private bedroom and bathroom space away on the second floor. The family vehicle will be used for the transportation of the children, a 2022 minivan. There are 2 small dogs in the home, West Highland Terriers. The nanny should not have a pet allergy.

Duties include caring for the children, organizing the refrigerator/pantry, household inventory, grocery shopping/pick up, picking up after the kids, cleaning up after the kid's meals, encouraging the children to clean up after themselves, and driving children to and from activities and school. Additional duties include laundry for the children and family, cooking for the children/family, picking up the kitchen, and keeping common areas used clean. The family has a housekeeper who comes once a week.

Pay is $20-25/hr gross depending on candidate.

Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership

Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
