Catering Server

Bon Appetit is looking for a self-motivated team player to support the catering department. Events at the University vary from high end plated dinners to casual pizza drops for student clubs.
YOU MUST BE SELF MOTIVATED WITH EXCEPTIONAL TIME MANAGEMENT / URGENTLY HIRING ! OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH / PLENTY OF OVERTIME AVAILABLE!
This is a union position with great opportunities for growth! Monday - Friday day time shifts with nights and weekends on occasions!
Duties:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages for events, including banquets, weddings, and corporate functions
- Set up and decorate event spaces according to client specifications
- Coordinate with event planners and clients to ensure all catering needs are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering equipment and supplies
- Assist with food production, including cooking, baking, and plating
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests
- Assist with bartending duties as needed
- Collaborate with the assistant manager to ensure smooth operations during events
Skills:
- Previous experience in catering or food service industry preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Working with urgency, punctuality & dependability are the core of being a great catering team player
