Cashier and Customer Service

AM PM Convenience Store is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier - Bartender - Customer Service Representative for our 'overnight shift' . In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, light 'bartending' and food serving, processing transactions accurately, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
Maintain knowledge of products and promotions to effectively answer customer inquiries.
Restock merchandise and ensure shelves are organized and well-maintained.
Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to management.
Keep the store clean and tidy, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Follow proper cash handling procedures and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.
Up-sell products and services to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong communication and interpersonal skills in both languages.
Previous experience in retail, restaurant, bar or customer service preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic math skills and proficiency in using POS systems.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
