Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations and ensure exceptional service delivery within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of math, and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services. This role requires effective organizational abilities and a focus on maintaining high standards in cash handling and customer interactions.
Manages and controls all functions of the Cages through subordinates. The Cages encompasses all front of the house guest transactions, the Main Cage, and Vault. Performs all duties assigned in accordance with legal requirements, presenting oneself as a credit to Apache Lonestar Casino and encourages others to do the same. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business administrations, Accounting, Finance or equivalent combination of education and leadership experience required. Requires extensive industry experience relating to the casino cage procedures preferred; and at least 2 years' experience in a similar position; or equivalent combination of education and experience in high volume casino operations, including but not limited to: Casino management, business and/or finance.
Proficient in using the Ten Key Adding machine.
Must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public.
Must be able to communicate in English.

Valid driver’s license.
No felony, theft or stealing convictions.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.

Responsibilities
Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.
Coordinate, direct and assist Cage Supervisors in the evaluation of cash cage personnel (subordinates), in the areas of policies, procedures and job performance.
Monitors staff performance, ensuring adherence to casino policies and procedures.
Responsible for the overseeing of staff training.
May review cash operations and/or review employee transactions through surveillance tapes.
Monitors and directs all cash cage related floor activities for efficient and effective cash processing to operations.
Recommend revisions and/or additions to cash operations policies and procedures.
Supervise compliance with bank vendor procedures (i.e. daily deposits and exchange, when appropriate).
Supervise processing of guest banking activities (i.e., cashing checks, money transfers, player banks or any other banks or replenishments).
Monitor and assist Cage Supervisors in cash cage operations.
Maintains open communication with Director of Finance and meets regularly with him/her.
Responsible for monitoring budget monthly.
May perform functions of Cage staff as required.
Responsible for overseeing currency transaction reporting.
Directs functions of the finance department ensuring adherence to casino policies and procedures.
At least once per month, conducts communication meetings with supervisor staff.
At least quarterly, conducts communication meetings with Cage staff.
Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and/or System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages Cage Shift Supervisors in their responsibilities for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Cage personnel.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees per approved casino policies; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of supervisor’s job and methods of work.
Knowledge of company procedures and staff of the organization.
Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.
