Café and Smoothie Bar: Manager

We are looking for a manager to lead our Cafe team! The café offers a variety of espresso based drinks, teas, baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and smoothie bowls. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for coffee and love making smoothies! We would love someone who provides excellent customer service, displays a positive attitude and works well with others. Business development is an important part of this position and a strong sense of creativity and desire to grow their area of the business is imperative.
Responsibilities:
-Manage and schedule a team of employees including yourself to cover the Cafe's open hours 7 days a week from 7am-2pm.
-Work to train and develop your team into long term employees who provide excellent quality product and service.
-come up with, plan, present and execute programs to assist in the growth of the Cafe's business and engagement within the membership.
Engage in day-to-day duties as a member of the team you are managing:
-Prepare and serve coffee drinks according to customer specifications.
-Prepare smoothie and smoothie bowls, prep fresh fruit.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
-Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders and other related equipment.
-Develop rapport with customers by learning their names and favorite products.
-Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
-Complete all required tasks and assigned duties before leaving a scheduled shift.
-Communicate in a positive and respectful manner.
-When no customers need service, actively engage in cleaning, organizing or fulfilling other on-shift responsibilities.
-Contribute to a positive and healthy work environment.
Requirements needed:
-Barista experience: 2 years (Required)
-Food Service: 1 year (Required)
-Cleanliness and Organization
-Dedication to high quality service
-Maintain a professional appearance and appropriate attire
-Enthusiastic approach to customer service
-Always on TIME

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
