CAD Designer - Drafter

Interstate Assembly System's is a fast paced production and design of customer vehicle up-fits and high-quality assemblies built to your precise specification. Our engineering team works directly with our customers on concepts, designs, and product development and we are looking for a CAD Designer or Drafter to add to our team at our Marshfield Wisconsin location.
Job Duties:

Create detailed truck models and layout drawings per customer requirements utilizing Solid Works CAD software.
Create/maintain installation drawings utilizing Solid Works CAD Software
Create new manufactured assemblies and drawings for fabrication.
Perform Engineering Change Notices
Interact with Engineering, Technicians, Parts, Procurement to create/maintain bills of materials in our JDE system.
Utilize JDE to create part numbers following the proper naming process and data entry requirements.

Requirements:

3D CAD experience (Solidworks preferred but not required)
Knowledge of drawing standards
Mechanical aptitude
Attention to detail.
Ability to communicate proficiently and professionally.
ERP system experience a plus, but not required.

Education:

High School Diploma (Required)
CAD Certificate or associate degree in engineering/Design/Drafting (Preferred)
