EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or college degree, Commercial Driver’s License Class B needed for bus driving, passenger endorsement, fingerprint clearance card, pass drug test, pass physical, and background check clearance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILTIES:
Drive bus per Transportation Supervisor’s schedule and Superintendent duties as assigned. Log miles, monitor and inspect the bus, keep students safe, follow all bus responsibilities according to ADE.
PERSONALITY: Self-driven, forward thinking, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality results. Comfortable dealing with all types of personalities professionally. See things from other person’s point of view and empathetic communicator. Must be well-presented, businesslike, and a team player.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Must be adept in use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word. Similar databases will be recognized; intermediate level favorable, internet and email.
Please note this position will include being on-call for the school week of Monday-Thursday, as well as planned trips that may include pre-scheduled weekend athletic travel for team / field trips for the students.
