Bilingual IT Manager (English/Korean)

Hyundai Glovis Georgia is an integrated logistics company located in West Point, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 Logistic, Warehousing, Inventory and Transportation Services to Kia Motors Manufacturing. We currently are accepting resumes for a BILINGUAL IT MANAGER (Korean/English). This position will have responsibilities IT Management, IT Business Analysis and Process Improvements (within the IT department as well as other departments throughout the company).
RESPONDSIBILITIES:
IT MANAGEMENT -

Creates and manages IT yearly business plan, manages IT budget and resources ensuring cost transparency
Develops and manages the long-term direction of IT Systems, ensures that platform development and new solutions’ designs are created and implemented to meet key criteria for reliability, availability, manageability, performance and security.
Manages demand & service delivery with suppliers and partners for infrastructure (devices, networks, data centers, hosting) applications and operations so that business demands translates into resources and capacity planning.
Accountability for the development, implementation and testing of Disaster Recovery plans.
Manages day-to-day operations, including support in the event of interruptions in services and break/fix support in the event of service failures.
Ensure that security standards relating to data and network protection are enforced and maintained.
Direct and support implementation of software, hardware and network upgrades.
Analysis new business processes and design the systems to support the new business.
Leading projects and coordinating with other teams to produce better business outcomes (company wide) and continuous improvement of information systems.
Manages the relationship between the company and it's customers regarding all aspects of IT.
In charge of incident management, checking and solving customizing issues, bug fixing, investigation of escalated problems, monitoring interfaces and replications. Enhancement management, analysis and application implementation improvements.
Writing general as well as detailed, functional specifications, Integration tests & business support for UAT, the application documentation.
Creates and complies daily, weekly and monthly reports in both English and Korean.
Manages improvement projects and provides support to complete projects within IT as well as Operations.
Managing the timeline for Process Improvement projects and enhancement plans
Lead Process Improvement projects selected by Executive Management.

CYBERSECURITY MANAGEMENT -

Support security audits, vulnerability assessments, and review penetration test results to maintain a robust security posture.
Apply technical expertise and knowledge to strengthen cybersecurity measures, including evaluation and recommending cybersecurity tools and technologies.
Support and coordinate the installation of security measures (software and hardware), to include the changes reported as anomalous by these measures.
Write, develop, and implement effective and reasonable policies and procedures to secure protected and sensitive data. Ensure information security is applied and compliance with relevant legislation and legal requirements.
Ensure that security standards relating to data and network protection are enforced and maintained.

IT BUSINESS ANALYSIS -

Takes the lead role in assisting with the business case, Planning and monitoring, Eliciting requirements, Requirement organization, Translating and simplifying requirements, Requirements management and communication, Requirements analysis.
Be in charge of - Incident Management, Checking and Solving customizing issue, Bug fixing, Investigation of escalated problems. Monitoring of interfaces and replications. Enhancement management, Analysis and application implementation improvements. Writing general as well as detailed, functional specifications. Integration tests & business support for UAT, the application documentation. Contribution to workload estimation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in MIS (Management Information Systems) / Computer Science / Industrial Engineering
3+ Years’ Experience as an IT Manager.
PMP & Oracle Certification Preferred,
Broad knowledge of systems and development languages (JAVA, .NET, etc.), database and Infrastructure (networks, services, IT devices) and IT Security.
Extensive knowledge in the Security tools.
Working understanding of information security technical terms and ability to explain them to non-technical people.
Experience in Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance.
Must have technical skill to handle database and comprehend development language to apply our business to the system and solve IT issues.
Experience working with automotive, manufacturing, warehousing and transportation systems.
Ability to effectively manage IT vendors in a way that generates results while creating a good working relationship.
Must have proven work experience in being responsible for making decisions and resolving issues quickly.
Must have experience working directly with internal & external customers as well as executive level management as well as being able to set expectations, explain and champion detailed technical concepts to peers, management and business partners.
Proven experience in being able to design and implement process improvements from start to finish to achieve goals of the company.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in both English and Korean) with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including: customers, executives, managers, subject matter experts and peers.
Ability to read, write and speak both English and Korean.
Strong negotiations, persuasion and analytical skills.
