Behavior Interventionist

Behavior Interventionist (one year position)

SCS seeks a full time, energetic specialist to join our team. We are looking for someone patient, caring, and skilled in the area of social-emotional learning. Behavior Interventionist will provide 1:1 support for an individual student to promote inclusive access to their education.

Candidate will work under the supervision of professionals to:
Direct, adjust or develop elements of student instructional and behavioral plans
Foster independence so that student can participate in school activities
Collect data
Integrate instructional, behavioral and communication interventions into the classroom

Ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and
demonstrate the ability to build relationships and rapport with students and school teams.
