The individual in this position will be responsible for the day to day running of the drop-in center in Zanesville, Ohio.
Coordinates Staff Schedule with Liaison
Coordinates volunteer schedule and use of facility
Reports maintenance needs to Liaison
Reports any emergency maintenance needs directly to Maintenance
Reviews concerns, complaints, needs, etc.
Trains new staff and volunteers
Meets with Liaison on regular basis
Works with staff to establish and implement policies
May make weekly deposits and send all receipts & deposits slips to Liaison
Holds staff meetings and sets agenda with Liaison
Collects membership dues and maintains record of payments; Maintains petty cash fund
Directs purchases of approved supplies
Submits bills to Liaison
Maintains accurate, current, legible records, and paperwork/files
May work with Liaison and staff to establish annual budget
Prepares monthly financial reports and shares reports at meetings
Works with other staff to establish and implement policies.
Maintains backup file system of all financial reports.
Set and maintain a monthly activity calendar
Complete safety drills and maintain records
Complete membership expectations/rules with each client/member
Maintain cleanliness of facility/grounds
Sound communication and organizational skills
First hand experience of behavioral health
Problem solving and decision making skills
Good judgment and some knowledge of needs of mentally ill population
Knowledge of community resources
Basic computer skills
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance Will use and protect such identified client PHI by maintaining and respecting client privacy and confidentiality in conformance with federal and state patient privacy laws and ABHS client confidentiality policies.
