Role Description:
The Café Barista is responsible for an array of tasks to include, first and foremost, providing outstanding “extra mile” service to our guests, along with making espresso drinks; stocking the pastry case; accurately operating the cash register to include cash handling; and ensuring a sparkling clean café area. Barista team members have an in-depth knowledge of our menu offerings and are always available to answer guest questions. Previous Café/Barista experience is preferred but not mandatory.


Shift:
This is a full-time position with a preferred schedule of 11a-7:30p or 9am-5:30p with weekend availability. But can accommodate candidate needs. Must be available to work over holiday season.
Pay Statement
This position is full-time (32+ hours) with a minimum and maximum starting range of $ $16.00 - $17.38 per hour. This range does not include tips, which our Barista's are eligible to receive.
Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of hospitality
• Complete all register transactions accurately and maintains the highest cash handling standards
• Prepare espresso drinks and teas at our expresso and pastry bar
• Works with the café team to keep the line and dining area neat and clean; wipes tables, food bars and coffee bar area; routinely empties bus tubs and checks trash; restocks dishes/silverware/paper products; removes debris from floors; sweeps/mops as necessary; organizes dining area to ensure a sparkly clean and welcoming environment!

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
