Automation Technician
POSITION SUMMARY:
Method Flow Products, A Roeslein Company, is seeking an Automation Technician I. Method Flow is looking for an individual who has the desire to perform quality work in a safe manner, who is detail-oriented, and who has superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly is required. Exposure to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.

- Performs all work in compliance with company standards, does not deviate from policies and procedures, and adheres to regulatory requirements.
- Safety is essential at Method Flow and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate.
- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- High energy, ambitious, and results-oriented; commitment to a culture of performance and excellence is required.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines while working safely to ensure a quality product.
- Must have the ability to install automation devices on oil field equipment which include pressure transmitters, level gauges, pneumatic valve controllers (Solenoids), gas/oil/water meters, and ESD buttons.
- Skilled at the installation of steel piping stacks, gauges, and conduit fittings with the ability to cut and mount Unistrut. Pull wire, zip-tie piping, place and fasten in cable tray, dig trenches, and run wire as needed. Terminate wire into devices and junction boxes.
- Follow directions and ask questions as necessary. Keep in constant communication with the Automation Lead and advise of any issues that need to be addressed.
- Safely drive to customer locations and safely perform the required work.
- Responsible for the accuracy of service tickets and timely submission.
- Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
- All employees who support partner companies are expected to follow the safety and employee conduct policies of the partner company which includes on-call obligations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Domestic travel may be required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $27.00 - 30.71 per hour

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Experience with different hand/power tools. (Ex: screwdrivers, wire strippers, wrenches, drills, impact drivers, shovels, pick ax, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required with a solid work ethic.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Ability to learn new skills.
