ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, management, or related or 8 years of relevant work experience.
- One (1) year of experience in a professional environment working with analysis, scheduling, planning or related.
- Basic understanding of how to manage, evaluate, and schedule projects.
- Proficient in MS Office Suites.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Typical office and hangar environment. Must be able to work at a computer for long periods and have the ability to enter and exit aircraft, and climb stairs with or without reasonable accommodation. Occasional travel.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Assist Project Managers in analyzing business need, determining objective and scope, identifying staffing needs, and kicking-off the project.
- Learn to create the Project Management Plans, refining the scope, developing and publishing the schedule, and identifying and evaluating any risks.
- Assists project managers to perform integrated change management, monitor scope, schedule, costs and quality progress, and stakeholder’s engagement.
- Learn and assist in confirming acceptance of deliverables, archiving project documentation, releasing project team, and close financial.
- Researches and recommends continuous improvement opportunities
