ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST


The reporting location for this position is Sacramento.

This position is remote-centered and is eligible for telework up to 5 days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. A teleworker is considered remote-centered if they work fifty percent or more of their time from an alternate work location. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Effective March 3, 2025 this position will transition to a hybrid workplace requiring a minimum of two days in-office presence per week.

Under direction of the Electric Safety Division Program and Project Supervisor, the incumbent performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical assignments for the Division including, but not limited to, policy analysis and formulation; program planning and support; program evaluation; continuous improvement; document management, meetings coordination and facilitation; coordination with stakeholders, and independently managing the Division's shared email inbox.

Department Information
The mission of the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) is to advance long-term utility infrastructure safety through data-driven, wildfire mitigation evaluation and compliance, excavation standards and education, in collaboration with local, state, and federal agencies, and in support of improved utility infrastructure, safety culture, and innovation.
