Armed Security Guard
Job Overview Code 3 Security is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This position requires a strong commitment to loss prevention, effective surveillance, and conflict management. The Armed Guard will utilize their training in law enforcement and emergency response to respond to incidents and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities..
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to report incidents or suspicious activities.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any actions taken.
- Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Certification in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Proven experience in loss prevention or a similar role is advantageous.
- Training in CPR and first aid is required; additional emergency response training is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Previous military experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- On call
- Security: 1 year (Required)
