We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Afternoon Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality education and care to our students during the afternoon hours. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the overall success of our students. Responsibilities: Instruction:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Deliver effective instruction to students, tailoring lessons to their individual needs.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to stimulate student learning.
Classroom Management:
Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement.
Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior effectively.
Organize and maintain a well-organized and safe classroom.
Student Assessment:
Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
Conduct assessments to evaluate student learning and inform instructional decisions.
Parent Communication:
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
Build positive relationships with parents to foster a strong partnership.
Professional Development:
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Stay updated on current educational trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting is preferred.
Certification in infant CPR and first aid (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and coworkers.
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with infants.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
