Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or CNP)
Urology Specialists Clinic & Surgical Center is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or CNP) to join our growing healthcare team. This position will have responsibilities in the OR, hospital setting, clinic, and will have some on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis. Successful candidates will have strong surgical 1st-assist skills, willingness to provide care in the OR, ambulatory, clinic and inpatient settings, and have the flexibility to work within a team to meet patient needs. The APP within appropriate scope of practice and under the supervision of the Physician, who acts as the collaborative practitioner, is responsible for:
Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of SD is required.
Previous urology experience is preferred but not required.

- Performs physical examinations of patients; evaluation and treatment of urologic conditions in the clinic and hospital setting
- Assists in the Operating Room including Robotic Surgery
- Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc
- Educates patient and family on treatment plans, surgical procedures, pre and post-operative care, etc
- Monitors the patient's course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed
- Collaborates with physician, colleagues, and other healthcare providers as necessary to provide consistent care to patients
- Displays a caring, positive and professional attitude at all times as well as maintaining personal and professional growth
- Demonstrates flexibility in schedules and the willingness to learn and adapt to current techniques within the industry.
