Job description Position Description:
The Admissions Community Advocate will report to Director of Admissions &
Marketing and will be responsible to maintain and promote Fox Chase Wellness Center and services offered. Advocate and assist potential participants with the application process. Maintain strong communication and network to build relationships with prospects and other organizations. Stay current on community updates, events and opportunities that will increase new participants/prospects. Collaborate with outside entities such as IEB, MCO, PCA and COA to successfully obtain authorization for services with the agency.
ADMISSIONS ADVOCATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bring in new business by networking and or outbound calls daily. (Supervisor will review your goal and require a minimum number of calls).
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing participants referral sources such as: Physicians, Hospitals, Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living and other community resources
Coordinate with management on marketing strategies, and reporting field activity
Meet with participants and/or family members to explain services and maintain positive relationships
Conduct sales calls, and evaluate results and effectiveness of sales activity
Manage and help formulate strategic marketing plans that meet the Agency’s goals
Develop and execute marketing strategies for Fox Chase Website and social media channels
Assist in producing all advertising and marketing collateral
Attend meetings as necessary for stronger marketing strategies, and to review current workload
Maintain good communication with all departments to ensure excellent customer service
Other duties as assigned
ADMISSIONS ADVOCATE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with Managed Care Organizations, Maximus and Home Care
Marketing/Sales
Receive and follow up on incoming calls/follow up and make outgoing calls
Demonstrate good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate ability to work in a slow/fast paced environment
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Logical thinking, collaborative work style, personable, outgoing and assertive when required
Demonstrate analytical skills, complex problem-solving skills and highly organized
Ability to gather resources and information across many departments and develop solid working relationships with individuals
High energy, ethical, solid demonstration of good common sense and self-motivated
Ability to meet deadlines
Maintain good documentation using internal office database
Must be able to work both independently and as a team player
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
