OUR COMPANY
Lake Champlain Transportation is a locally owned, 200 year old company managing ferry transportation services across Lake Champlain. It has a dynamic, exciting and fun environment, and very low employee turnover. This is a unique opportunity to join our team at the downtown Burlington location!
THE POSITION
Full-time, in-person Accounts Payable position to handle the full payables cycle: managing incoming invoices, coding, weekly check runs, and filing. Position resolves vendor inquiries and reconciles to statements, and has multiple other functions to support various responsibilities of the accounting team.
Candidates should have a minimum of a degree in accounting plus relevant experience, above average skills in Excel and Word, the enthusiasm to learn and grow in this position, and commitment to making a difference in a team atmosphere. Candidates should have a solid understanding of accounting, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and possess a level of professionalism.
