The Award Winning Cocktail Bar at The Merchant Hotel has the following vacancy:

Cocktail Bar Waiting Staff

We have a full time role available, this is hourly paid at £11.44 and includes a generous service charge.

A full time member of staff could expect to earn on average an additional £100-£150 per week through service charge paid weekly through payroll.

The essential criteria for the position are:

One year’s experience in a similar role
Cash handling experience
A knowledge of spirits and cocktails
Confident and comfortable working in a demanding high volume environment
A keen eye for detail
Exceptional customer care skills
The ability to anticipate guest needs and offer the genuine warmth of the “Merchant Welcome”
Fully flexible to work, days evenings and weekend shifts

The desirable criteria for this position is:

Experience working within a five star setting
Barista experience

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a cool head and the ability to work collaboratively with others towards our team goals.

The successful candidate will have a full knowledge of all items on the menus and be responsible for taking orders promptly and efficiently.
