Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at a bustling restaurant in the heart of the city. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information when requested
- Take accurate food and drink orders
- Deliver orders to the kitchen and ensure timely service
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience
- Clear tables efficiently and reset for the next guests
- Handle guest queries or concerns with professionalism
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Skills
- Proficiency in food preparation and hospitality practices
- Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong guest service orientation with a friendly demeanour
- Basic maths skills for order accuracy and bill calculations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £11.44-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
