We get by with a little help from our friends… Every single one of our volunteers helps us provide outstanding care and support to the community of North Devon who are impacted by a life limiting illness. We really value the time all our volunteers give to us and you will be making a real difference to our patients and their families at their most vulnerable time. Would you like to help support the hospice by testing donated electrical items to ensure they function as intended? This will include wiping any personal data from donated electronic items before they are listed for sale on our online platforms. For example, mobile phones, DVD players, gaming systems etc. Please note the items will already be safety PAT tested and no specific electrician skills will be required. All equipment and training will be provided, and the role will be based at our warehouse at Two Rivers Industrial Estate in Barnstaple. You will find our Role Brief at the bottom of this page We currently have a number of shifts available, Mornings: 9am – 12:30pm Afternoons: 12:30pm – 4pm There may be some flexibility with start and finish times so please contact us to discuss your availability.
