Overview
The Prep KP plays a vital role in the team, ensuring the high standard of preparation of vegetables for sale to customers and ensuring that food safety standards are upheld. This position is ideal for individuals who like to work independantly and are target driven.
Duties
Preparation of vegetables for sale to customers such as peeled potatoes, chips, and other prepared vegetables.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food prep area, including washing utensils and equipment after use.
Adhere to food safety regulations, ensuring that all food is stored correctly and safely.
Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to supervisors.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation tasks.
Willingness to learn and adapt processes .
A passion for quality produce and an eagerness to contribute positively to the team.
