UK Crew Training Administrator

Job Summary
As UK Crew Training Administrator, you will work closely with NHV’s Training Manager/ Head of Crew Training (hereafter referred to as the TM) and Crew Training Supervisor, as well as other associated parties, to facilitate initial and recurrent pilot training and checking, and to help develop the crew training department so that it is optimally effective and efficient. The primary role is to provide administration support to the training department, maintain an awareness of crew training needs via the Crew Training Supervisor and to ensure that training is allocated appropriately.
Respons. & areas
Training coordination and administration
  • Administration of the training department, in support of the Crew Training Supervisor.
  • As directed by the Crew Training Supervisor, TM and/or Fleet Senior Training Captains, organising training for pilots at NHV UK bases.
  • Liaising with operations/ rostering related personnel so that training can be rostered efficiently and in line with rest and duty requirements. This includes simulator training.
  • Ensuring training records are completed to the required standard and stored correctly in Rusada/ Fleetplan.
  • Liaising with relevant personnel so that suitably qualified trainers are allocated to provide training.
  • Coordinating bookings with Simulator Operators.
  • Ensuring that relevant staff can access the required training forms and materials.
  • Setting up new joining pilots’ profiles in the various systems and obtaining training records/ certificates of previous training or qualifications achieved from new joiners.
  • By liaising with relevant personnel, ensure that training rooms / venues, equipment, catering arrangements, and other requirements are booked in advance.
  • Managing relevant personnel (for example setting up training such as classroom training and organizing trainers for that training. Example is CRM training - organise contractor Ensuring support materials / handouts for training courses are issued or made accessible to trainees and, where necessary, assisting with the creation of such documentation.
  • Ensuring that course feedback questionnaires are completed and assessed.
  • Follow up requests for training and ensure that appropriate training has been booked/allocated.
  • Issuing and tracking of internal and external CBT’s.
  • Production and maintenance of company CTFL.
  • Administrating Flowsparks.
  • Cover other Flight Ops Cell staff in limited duties during leave.
Experience
  • Proven office based administration in a dynamic environment.
  • Aviation experience within an operational environment desirable.
  • An understanding of basic crew training regulations within the relevant company documentation desirable.
  • Prior knowledge of NHV’s training systems desirable.
Skills
  • ICT-literate (e.g. MS Office).
  • Languages: English, professional level.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written).
  • Solution finding / problem solving.
