Trainee Quality Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to develop as a Quality Specialist within our team. Working closely with the Quality Manager the ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

This is suitable as an entry level quality position with the successful candidate being provided full on the job training. Additional development training such as Internal Auditor training will also be provided.
A basic understanding of quality assurance activities would be beneficial. The ability to accurately collect and make sense of data would be advantageous.
Duties
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and outputs to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Support the implementation of new or improved quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
  • Prepare reports on quality metrics for management review and decision-making.
  • Support the Internal Audit programme
Requirements
  • Experience within a manufacturing setting would be advantageous.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction across departments.
