As Technical Planner, UK Aftermarket Operations Repair Group – responsible for controlling projects within the Repair Facility and outside vendors, from the release of work orders until completion. To ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within budget and to the required quality standards by following all NOV specifications
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Drive the repair schedule with an understanding of the critical path tasks
- Prepare work packs when required
- Actively monitor job costs through the repair phase to maintain within agreed contract
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within planned costs
- Create, revise and update Quality Plans, Routers and ITP (Inspection Test Plans) as required
- Assist shop floor technicians and chargehands with technical queries
- Lead job kick off and update meetings, actively engaging in positive discussions regarding potential problematic areas
- Collect Documentation for the Data Book/ final documentation creation process in conjunction with Repair Coordinator
Qualifications:
- GCSE Level 3 or above relevant business qualifications or equivalent (Essential)
- HNC/HND business related subject (Desirable)
Experience:
- Experience in a similar position (Essential)
- Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry (Desirable)
Skills, training or special knowledge:
- Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook) (Essential)
