Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Store assistant and Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our stores and working in our retail stores. This role requires excellent time management skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
The role is to pick up store orders from HQ and wholesalers and deliver them to our stores. Following this you’ll be working in the retail store for the majority of the day and on the van when required. This is very much a retail role with an element of driving.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
-customer service, food prep, stock replenishment along with any other duties required in the retail store.
-Keeping the vans clean, tidy and hygienic.
Skills
- Valid driving licence with no more than 6 points (clean preffered)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous retail experience preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
- own transport is essential as you may be required to cover other stores .
- Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems is beneficial.

Qualifications

- Valid driving license and experience in delivery driving and retail preffered.
Monday -Saturday 5 days over 6, 7.30-5/5.30pm. 42.5/45 hours per week
Must be over 25 years for insurance purposes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £29,484.00 per year
