What you'll be doing
As a Senior Planner you will have the following accountabilities:

• Lead the development and management of project schedules for large-scale construction projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to create compliant project programs.
• Provide advanced expertise during contract stage, ensuring strategic planning and execution.
• Monitor, record and report progress to set intervals.
• Manage and evaluate project critical paths and resources, addressing potential issues and driving projects to successful completion.
• Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring performance, and resolving contract-related issues.
• Mentor junior planners, offering guidance and fostering collaboration within the team.

Who we're looking for
The following is essential:

• Substantial experience of planning procedures within large complex building environments within the construction industry.
• Proficiency with project management tools - ASTA.
• Knowledge and working experience of 4D planning.
• Expertise in contract management, resource planning, and risk analysis.
• Knowledge and experience in high quality fitouts projects, performance spaces being advantageous (ie stage lighting, engineering and production installation)
• Excellent adaptability, communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on collaborative problem-solving.
• Previous experience in managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Good experience in the use of planning techniques and the required planning tool-sets;
• Good report writing skills;
• Attention to detail and will see tasks through to completion.
• Good understanding of various methods of planning, programming, and progress monitoring; Good understanding of risk and opportunity management with particular reference to planning/programming
• Relevant CSCS Card

The following qualities/experience are desirable:

• A degree, or HND in a relevant subject is desirable, as is Professional membership of one or more of the following: CIOB
