Senior Host Job Description We are looking for a Head Host to take on a leadership role on the host team. The role is full-time looking at between 30 and 40 hours per week dependent on the needs of the successful applicants and the level of trade. The roles responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Administration of all large or complicated reservations and events.
Creating function sheets for the kitchen and management teams.
Training and supervision of the wider host team in the correct processing of all reservations.
At times assisting with recruitment and rostering for the department.
Ensuring the correct implementation of company procedures and best practises across the booking team to always maximise covers.
Model excellent guest service and relations at all times.
Run the department across key busy service shifts; ensuring standards are maintained; guests are doted on; and your team is always advocated for.
Assist in the maintenance and administration of Collins, and the other digital platforms used by the team.
Ensure the team use Collins correctly and in a uniform fashion including the use of Follow-ups, labelling, status updates and reporting.
Supervise all in-bound comms. Including but not limited to; Feed-it-back, Trip Advisor, Instagram, Facebook.
Manage a company email account and ensure that company guidelines are always followed.
Propose, create, and schedule Instagram stories around the events calendar as well as engaging with the two sites followers.
