About the Role
8 hour shifts 4 on 4 offJob Summary:
We are currently seeking a Mobile Plant Fitter to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of mobile equipment, ensuring that all machinery is in optimal working condition. Your expertise will play a key role in supporting our operations and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mobile plant equipment such as trucks, loaders, and compactors.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and efficient solutions.
- Perform planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
- Comply with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter in a similar industry.
- Knowledge of heavy mobile plant machinery and their maintenance requirements.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
