Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures on various job sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople. The Scaffold Builder will utilise both hand and power tools, ensuring that all scaffolding is plumb, level, and safe for use.
Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble scaffolding systems according to specifications and safety regulations.
• Ensure all scaffolding is plumb, level, and structurally sound before use.
• Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, electricians, and masons to facilitate smooth operations on site.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely in the construction of scaffolding.
• Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to identify any potential hazards or maintenance needs.
• Dismantle scaffolding upon project completion while ensuring materials are stored properly for future use.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred.
• Cots / CISRS part 1 / 2 working with Layher scaffold, tube and fitting
• Familiarity with industrial sites, roofing, electrical installations is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on site.
