Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic mature Sales Assistant, with retail experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts, engaging with customers, and contributing to the overall success of our business. This is an evening position, 3 days per week, 5pm-9pm, days are negotiable.
Duties

• Assist customers in selecting products and provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Engage with customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking shelves, and ensuring product availability.
• General housekeeping duties

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail is essential.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic maths skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately.
• A friendly disposition with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 3 years (required)
