Reporting to the Head of Technical Pre-Sales this role will support the product, sales and account management teams by combining technical and commercial skills for successful product sales.
A key part of your role will also be requirements gathering to feed into product development and overall product strategy.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales, business development and account management teams on proposals, pitches and demonstrations for new and existing clients, acting as a technical expert.
- Work closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solutions.
- Identify new opportunities for Trayport’s products to add value.
- Configure systems in preparation for both high-level and complex demonstrations.
- Present proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team.
- Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally.
- Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to partners and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with Product Management to identify new product opportunities and improve on existing ones where needed.
- Interface with the implementation team, articulating customer requirements, to ensure a smooth transition from Sale to Delivery.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of trader, exchange and inter-dealer broker workflows within Energy.
- Previous experience in account management and growing a revenue base in a consultative sales or account manager position is desirable.
- Additional languages such as German, French, Spanish or Italian are desirable.
