The successful applicant will undertake undertake the maintenance and construction of roads, drains and streetlighting as required by either: - working within a construction team of 3 or more members, led by a Chargehand - working as part of a two person team (and the Roadworker 5 is the responsible individual) - working as an experienced individual on their own in a particular field of work..
A current driving licence, Category C*, is essential and Category C+E Essential. *We will accept applications from individuals who do not have a Cat C, however, as it is an essential requirement for the role, if you are successful, we will arrange and pay for you to obtain Cat C entitlement. Repayment terms apply should you leave employment within 24 months of obtaining Cat C entitlement.
