We are seeking a reliable Sweeper Driver to join the Thomas Plant Hire team. We deliver high-quality sweeper services across the region. Along with operating the sweeper, this role also involves the use of gulley sucking equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and safety by keeping all sites clear of debris and potential hazards.
This job role is mobile, and the candidate will be expected to travel daily to the required customer sites.
Responsibilities

• Operate sweeping machinery and equipment to clean designated areas efficiently.
• Left hand side drive
• Conduct routine inspections of the equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any unusual findings during sweeper operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.

Desirables

• Previous experience as a Sweeper driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• NPORS / CSCS Card
• HGV Class 2
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify cleanliness issues quickly.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• A proactive approach to health and safety regulations in the workplace.

• Saturdays on demand
