Job Description: Retrofit Assessor We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ECO4 Retrofit Assessor to join our team. This role is essential in assessing properties for eligibility and suitability for the ECO4 grant, which helps households improve energy efficiency. Role Overview: As an ECO4 Retrofit Assessor, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough on-site assessments of residential properties to determine their eligibility for the ECO4 grant. You will evaluate the current energy efficiency measures in place and identify opportunities for improvement that the grant could support. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed surveys of residential properties to assess their energy efficiency and determine eligibility for the ECO4 grant.
Inspect various aspects of the property, including insulation, heating systems and other energy related features.
Collect and document accurate data, including measurements, photographs, and notes, to support the grant application process.
Provide recommendations for energy efficiency improvements that could be covered by the ECO4 grant.
Prepare and submit comprehensive survey reports that outline findings and recommendations.
Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate communication of survey results to customers.
Stay up-to-date with ECO4 grant guidelines and energy efficiency standards to ensure all surveys meet the required criteria.
