Planning Coordinator

What Are We Looking For?
RSE is looking for a Planning Coordinator to join our office in Muir of Ord on a permanent basis as part of our Operations and Maintenance team. This is a unique role, offering the incumbent the opportunity to provide day to day support with the resource management & project planning of various projects.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Organise resource, subcontractors, materials, access, etc. as required to safely deliver projects on time.
  • Provide multi-project programmes and or trackers to identify resource constraints.
  • Liaise, interact, co-operate and develop effective working relationships with Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Planners, Directors and Clients to develop, update, monitor and amend project programme’s and or trackers.
  • Assist in keeping projects on track by identifying critical activities and evaluating remedial action should a programme show unacceptable characteristics (e.g. failing to meet required completion date).
  • Monitor, update and report to the Company’s Project Team and the Client’s Project Management on the status of programmes for projects.
  • Create formal baseline programme’s and or trackers for comparison purposes.
  • Assist in determining the appropriate level of resources in all disciplines to trade level.
  • Administration duties as required and carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set.
What Do You Need?
  • Excellent IT skills (MS Office – Outlook, Word and Excel in particular).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meticulous with attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships inside and outside the Company.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Initiative and ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and against tight time deadlines to achieve on-time delivery.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
