The Post:
The purpose of this role is to deliver an accurate and comprehensive payments service to all Primary Care contractors and all other parties in line with financial regulations and legislation, providing assurance around probity and quality and that activity is properly monitored.
The Candidate:
The postholder will assist the Payment Coordinator to manage payments on behalf of NHS Health Boards and other Government departments to health contractors and other beneficiaries. The postholder will be self-motivated, numerate, empathetic, able to deal with sensitive issues in a confidential manner, a team player with the ability to work independently and use own initiative.
The postholder should be educated to HNC/HND level with experience of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who have lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
Location and Working Pattern:
This post will be based in Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow.
Currently hybrid working
The work pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
